YES, CHANGE OF SUBSTANCE FIRST BEFORE CHANGE OF (OUTER) SYSTEM

MY COMMENTS:

Jonas hits the core.

The roots of everything are: 1) thoughts and 2) feelings. From these two, proceeds everything.

No matter how excellent the outward system may be, such as the use of computers in election counting, if the inside of man remains corrupt and evil. He will hire expert programmers to secretly place a program line inside the computer which tells the computer “For every 10 votes of my opponents, add 11 to mine.”

That is why, when Abalos pushed with the computerization of our election, I wasn’t excited. Knowing how computers work, I still knew that cheating would still be perpetuated if the “humans” will command the “machines” to cheat!
And cheat will the machine do much faster and almost invisibly primarily because of speed.

CHANGE OF THE SUBSTANCE – CHANGE OF ATTITUDE – CHANGE OF CHARACTER – CHANGE OF THE TRAITS – IN SHORT, CHANGE OF THE HEART AND MIND – IS THE DEMAND OF THE HOUR!

If we do not take heed to the call of Jonas, we may proceed to changing the outer part, such as the system, for example, this centralized government into federalized, decentralized, but in so doing, we will only be decentralizing corruption and distributing it to the different local governments!

The crocs who now flock in the National Government will simply disperse to the provinces, towns and barangays after we have impoverished the National Government.

This is a matter that goes beyond human power to accomplish. Let us rely on the Almighty Father to accomplish such changes. Over three thousand years ago, He foretold the time when He “will change the heart of stone into a heart of flesh… And I will write My law in their hearts and minds. And then, they shall become My people and Me their God.”

Just one Law will be finally written in indelible ink of the Spirit in the heart of every man and woman and child – and this law is “You shall love Jehovah your God above all and your neighbor as yourself.” This will constitute the hearts and minds of the people. And the people will do it willingly.
Not just change of person, Jonas. But change of heart. For it has become the argument of the pro-GMA, they saying, “Who is he who you think can replace GMA? There is no one better than her in the country.”

Perhaps true. Perhaps not. But I think we have a good leader in the person of Senator Nene Pimentel, among others, but the people have not elected him president.

Anyway, the point is: change of heart or more specifically, change of selfish SELF-LOVE to selfless LOVE for God, fellowmen/neighbors as one loves the self. Not anymore “Love Self or family alone” Instead of 600fold love for Self + 60 Love for Neighbor + 6 fold Love for God, it will be 600fold Love for God, 60fold Love for Neighbors + 6fold Love for Self!

CHANGE OF SUBSTANCE MUST PRECEED CHANGE OF SYSTEM (FRAME)….

THEN CHANGE OF THE SYSTEM WILL HAVE MEANING… WILL FINALLY WORK!
The shift of system to Federalism that Miravite, I and others advocate will only become effective if the people and thoughts and feelings composing its substance will be righteous, mature and thus, deserving freedom and progress.
But since this centralized system of government was basically made to serve the GREED of the FEW RULING FAMILIES, it will still improve things if we will break this monopoly of power down. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
As I’ve said, NO MORE MEN OF GREED WILL FLOCK IN MANILA OR MALACAñANG WHEN WE CHANGE THE SYSTEM TO IMPOVERISH MANILA AND GIVE HER ONLY WHAT SHE NEEDS IN HER FUNCTIONS. As what I have explained, the sudden disappearance of the money from the National Treasury (resulting from Federalization) will discourage the wicked men from running and will encourage the righteous to fill the seats in congress, and other government offices. Are not these good effects from the change of government?
Giving P0.90 back to Mindanao will also allow her leaders to develop her land and tap her rich resources.
Sure, better things will happen if we keep the following in mind: WE MUST CHANGE THE SYSTEM THAT SUPPORTS GREED INTO A SYSTEM THAT CARRIES OUR JUSTICE, LOVE, MERCY, RIGHT FREEDOM AND EQUALITY AMONG MANKIND.
I WOULD LIKE THAT THIS PRESENT SYSTEM WHICH FULLY SUPPORTS THE GREED AND SELFLOVE of the few WILL BE FINALLY CHANGED INTO ONE WHICH WILL HELP FACILIATE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER — ONE WHICH MAKES THE FLOW OF LOVE AND MERCY FLOW SMOOTHLY UNHINDERED!!
We should not leave the Gloria-gate unresolved. But it gives hope and is therefore wiser if we discuss longer-term course of action, such as federalism, than to focus to the present problem with no solution in sight. Federalism is a solution.
